I was too tired and slept at 9.30pm last nite… By the time I woke up was 7.30am and it was raining cats & dogs… Tot that after raining, the haze will go off, but the sky and buildings were still as blur as before the rain… Sigh…
Don’t feel like going work, but no choice and to drag my feet to take the bus & train to work…
We had lunch from 1pm to 3pm… A nice weather to rest, chit chats and sits around… haha... Everybody was so slacky when Jen was not around...

L was on MC again… Jen will be on leave for the next 3 days, so we all can slack abit… haha… CY2 was out of office to coordinate for the NTS exam since 12pm, so the whole office was very quiet… I almost dozed off after lunch, really eyes closing and almost sleep on my desk that kind… Can you imagine that… haha…
The haze was very heavy, almost every buildings you see were blur… Can even smell the burning smell… Nose was abit blocked, throat was abit dry, a slight cough as well… Not sure this heavy haze will cause how many people to fall sick…
L was on MC again… AG told me that L sent her the Admin minutes yesterday evening and AG told me that she suspected that L had already planned to take MC to do her wedding stuff…
I was abit angry with CY2 due to the Convocation letters… That time he proceed to print and sent to the GDFM tutors I already dun care, now he received a call from one of the graduands saying that he didn’t receive the letter… Guess what CY2 told that doctor? He said he need to check when the letter was sent out as we sent in batches… When he approached me to ask about this, I told him straight in the face that we all folded, pasted stamps and sent out the entire batch of invitation letters together on 8 Oct, why was he telling the doctor that we sent in batches… He kept quiet and walked off…
After awhile, CY2 received another call from another doctor asking if we received his fax on the RSVP… CY2 didn’t check the fax and told the doctor that we didn’t receive, RT heard this while walking past the fax machine and commented to CY2 “dun anyhow say without checking, this is his RSVP reply, we just received the fax”, CY2 then told the doctor that we received…
Very what right?
I was tired & wanted to sleep early, didn’t go and take a look at how’s the reno going on…
Today is the 1st day of house reno and WK told me that we kena complaint bcos of the noise level of the hacking due to exam period now… But he said no need to worry since his company had gotten the HDB permit…
Due to a minor change in the design of the house, we will be charged a small amount for the additional 4 items… I am very particular in the terms & items stated in the quotation so I called WK to clarify on the additional items… My another concern is the hacking of the left wall by the kitchen entrance, so W told me that he will only ask his worker to hack that wall after we had gotten permit from HDB…
I was on half day morning off and wanted to accompany my grandma for breakfast as usual as I was overly busy and missed having breakfasts with her for the past 2 weekends… I sms-ed my 叔叔to ask him to help inform my grandma that I will be going over ot her house shortly… After awhile, my叔叔 called and said that today is my grandma’s bday and that she wants to cook 面线 eat… I was shocked that I totally forgotten about my grandma’s bday!!! So you can see that I am really very busy with the wedding and the new house lately that I had forgotten a lot of things… Therefore, I last min arranged a dinner at 8pm to celebrate her bday where the whole family will be present…
After the breakfast, I brought my pa to CGH for his acupuncture session as well as the speech therapy appt… The therapist said my pa had slight improvement and suggested him to go for a throat xray to review if he really improves in his swallowing…
After reaching home at 12.45pm, I changed into my working attire and went to work… On the way at int, I bought vegetarian lunch for AG & myself then we eat in office…
After work, I rushed back home and bought a coffee cake at Bangawan Solo while on the way… I gave grandma an angbao after the dinner opposite her house… She insisted not to take but I insisted to give her as a token so she got no choice but to keep… haha…
After the cake cutting, we all went home and rest…
I can sense that my grandma was delighted that the whole family was able to be present for the dinner as initially she only intended to have the dinner with my 叔叔, 姑姑 and姑丈 bcos she doesn’t want to trouble us to wheelchair my pa… Anyway, the dinner was just so nearby and we all just take it as another family gathering…
I bought breakfast for dar at his house, then we went to choose the new house’s wall & floor tiles for kitchen, living, bedrooms & toilets by WK’s car… After that, WK drove us to Balestier to buy kitchen n toilet accessories which cost us closed to $2k… Next was the buying of lightings for entire house at $600+… Really broke liao…
Everything ended at about 2.30pm where dar & I had our late lunch at Velocity Square, Novena… After that, we rushed down to Chinatown to meet his parents and my mother to enquire and shop for some wedding stuff… We went to 2 shops opposite People’s Park Complex and snacks at one of the café inside OG building…
After resting for awhile, we moved on to Hong Lim hawker side to continue shopping… We stopped at one shop and dar saw the same set of mattress covers which he saw at People’s Park so we decided to buy that set together with the comforter… My mother paid for it as traditionally, the bride’s side will have to buy and return as a gift to the groom’s side…
We were tired so we decided to take CT18 back to Bedok where dar’s parents wanted to continue shopping… However, we met each other again at the bus stop and thus sat together in the bus… Dar’s mother kept talking to my mother and we did overheard some contents from the row in front where dar & I were sitting… Dar helped to carry the set of heavy mattress covers to my house before both of us went for dinner (Long John Silver) at Bedok int… I can sense that my mother was abit unhappy but I do not know the actual reasons why (I guess it might be some thing which dar’s mother told her?)… When I reached home, my mother seemed alright liao… So I guessed she must be tired, so I also didn’t ask much…
Dar & I had our pre-wedding photo shootings today :)

reached JHC for make-up and hairdo, changed into kua and took studio photos
I went for waxing beauty treatments at Katong yesterday… After that, I slowly walked to Parkway for a drink while sourcing for a red shirt for dar and a 2-way cake for myself for photo shootings
Just now, I had another session of beauty treatment: manicure & pedicure… I was late for the appt, so I didn’t have dinner and hunger till 9pm… Luckily the venue was just opposite my house, so I ate straight after I reached home…
